A friend of mine once asked a guy out and he told her he couldn't go out with her, that he had to spend time with his slacks.

No joke.

WTF does that even mean?

Your stories please....the girl could use some consoling.

I'll state for the record as well that I've never been turned down for a date either! ;-)

I have never been turned down, other that to be told the person was attached. I was never insulted as was your friend.
The man was saying to her "not interested" in a trully vulgar, unkind manner.
I would like you to let your friend know he was a right git of the highest order and not worth one more moment of her thoughts and feelings.
From me to her, I am sorry it happened.

When I don't work out and I am feeling the groove, like I think I'm hot stuff and I forget to shower for a week. A guy will shoot me down like a dead duck. Actually It happens alot more than you think.

I thot guys were supposed to ask the girl out.........maybe I'm just getting old. No means no. You can think what you like, but if he made up an excuse then he is simply not interested. Don't take it personally.
