Perhaps you are jealous because you feel you are lacking in what men have?
Ok, that was the obvious answer... in fact, you half answered it in your own question.
"As a female, I have to be extra careful whenever I leave my house and it is just not fair!!!"
Why is it not fair? Because for men, it is safer (it IS) and they are more confident, and you are jealous of them because you lack that confidence.
You are jealous of their friendships because they're so much more relaxed.
You are jealous of their leadership and of their brawn because, again, it represents their confidence.
And you are jealous of their personalities... well, guys are complicated, there's a lot you could be talking about (probably the carefree "whatever" attitude because you lack in that as well).
In any case, I could be wrong about everything, but that doesn't stop you from asking yourself: What do guys have that I don't? Why don't I have these things? And what is stopping me from obtaining it?
Of course, don't go too far. The "way guys personalities work" is far from perfect, and you know it. What you need is a balance: just enough confidence, just enough care-free-ness, etc.
In any case, answer these questions and act on them, then, your phase will be through.

Did you ever stop and think that women have advantages too? In general, you are right men get along better. But, when men don't like each other, they often lack the sense to resolve personal issues or lack the ability to create new friends. Women are good at networking. Women are usually better at domestic things. Before I got married, I used to come home and eat ravioli out of a can! I am often jealous of how women can use their physical attributes to get what they want or make everyone fear them by throwing a temper tantrum. If some guy did that at my job, even if he were my boss, I'd probably just laugh. Women create life too. Women are often the ones children love more because there is more of a personal connection between children while fathers are many times less emotional and fail to bond with their children in any meaningful way. Cheer up. You've got a lot of things going for you as a woman.

I agree with you that men have a stronger friendship relationship than women do. But, I am sure if you looked positively around you, you will find some girls and women who love to have a strong friendship. If you are jealous,so take a step and try to use this jealous feeling to motivate you to create a new path that will help you to be like them.Another point is try to accept the difference between both gender and enjoy your part besides creating time management and practical steps to help you to be better than them at work or school.Men think and women feel. If you used your feelings to motivate you to think like men and be practical you will reach your goal :)

no you are right to feel that way. everything you said is true. but you don't want to have a miserable feeling like that the rest of your life. that is a lousy way to feel all day. ask yourself how you can empty out these bad feelings. a shrink or psychologist won't help but the study of buddhism deals with that. it is the cornerstone of that sort of thing. find out for yourself. read and learn about detaching from negativity and feeling good. hates and resentment eats at your core. meditate and think. control and flushing away the negative feelings is the way. good luck

You are young, I can tell. I used to be that way too. Now, I do my own thing and I don't think about them anymore. If they stay out late, they can face dangers too (haven't you read the news?). As far as bonding, you can bond with your female friends too. What's keeping you?
You're giving them too much control over your feeling and over your life. Let it be.

There's nothing wrong with you sometimes i feel that way too especially when we have to take hours or a whole day to get ready to go to a special occasion while they go and play basketball with their buddy's and come in all sweaty and stink and take only 10 minutes to get ready.
