If it's with one of my close friends, no way. Just the comfort of knowing nothing needs to be said. If it's an acquaintance, yes. I usually start babbling to fill it up. I'm trying to teach my kids silence is okay though. "Close your eyes. What do you hear? What's behind the noise?" He looks at me like I've lost my mind!
