Twins are so cool because they are rare. Besides fertility drugs, there are two ways to increase your chances of being the mom to twins:
be from a family that has a long history of twins
or
wait until you are much older and your body starts dumping eggs faster (like just before menopause).
Since leaving your husband for a twin or chancing it that you might wait too long and miss your chances of having a baby at all probably don't sound too great, enjoy the babies as they come (one at a time, two at a time, whatever).

for sure . . . no longer likely. approximately 3% of all births are twin births. aside from fertility meds and coverings, women human beings over 35, women human beings obese and ladies those with a kinfolk historic previous of fraternal twins look to instruct a bigger fee for a twin being pregnant. some human beings look to think of that yams and a weight-alleviation plan intense in dairy additionally shows a bigger risk for twins yet this has no longer been all that nicely shown. Harvard college additionally did a learn that confirmed that ladies people who have been fortunate sufficient to conceive presently upon getting off the pill had a bigger risk for twins - some thing approximately your physique and hormones returning to widespread . . . in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it incredibly grew to become into an quite reasonable enhance and on condition which you have been fortunate sufficient to get pregnant interior of a few months of going off start administration. suited needs!

First of all, I have to comment on one of the answers... "leave your husband for a twin?!?!" Wow! how stupid. Twins has NOTHING at all to do with the dad. That's why they say it skips generations. The gene for twins has to come from MOM's side of the family. It is HER EGGS that determine whether multiples are possible (other than drugs) My cousin has a set of fraternal twins... and HER grandfather was a fraternal twin. But she got them with her FOURTH pregnancy. (She has 7 kids)
Aside from changing your own family history, there's not much you can do to change it. You could stand on your head and walk backwards, but that still won't change anything. It's basic genetics and biology.

i don't think there is any way that you can have twins without the drugs. the drugs release more eggs so you can have a chance to have twins. most likely without drugs, you body will release just one egg and if you lucky maybe it will split into and become twins.
