I usually didn't have to tell anyone because I had morning sickness all day and night from about the first week till delivery. Of course this is not normal. Some people like to share the good news as soon as they are sure the are pregnant. Others like to wait till after the first trimester that way if complications result in a miss carriage everyone is not disappointed . IT is entirely up to the couple when they tell and who .

About 12 weeks. That way there is a much reduced chance of something going wrong with the pregnancy. Most miscarriages happen before 12 weeks. Think about it, it would be embarrassing if you told everyone you were pregnant...and then you had a miscarriage. It would be quite a chore and a depressing feat to tell everybody.

I started to tell my close family member right when i found out just in case i need anything or something happened to me they would know. i also let my boss know so i could go to doctors appoitment and stuff. The rest of the poeple i didn't tell i was between 12-14 weeks along because the miscarry percentage goes down.

well after to misscarriages i was pregnant again. i waited until i was 12 weeks pregnant to tell people. i rented a room and decorated it with a cake and balloons and such. i had told some of my friends and the helped me assemble this. i put different clues all over my town and my family had to go all over town and search for the clues. the last clue told them where we would be. when they showed up and walked in i was standing there in a shirt that said Mommy-to-Be! i gave my mom, grandma, and his mom a rose with an ultrasound picture attached to it!

I told my mum the day before my first ultrasound(5 weeks)... The reason for that was i waited for her to be in the bath and asked her how she felt about coming with me to have an ultrasound. I thought she would go ape**** but she actually expected me to be pregnant so her and dad were kool. They just said that if you couldnt support your kid at that time in their life when could u? I was 16, thats y...

At 20 weeks. I waited to tell my family with the first 2, with the third we were so excited we told the family and m/c at 18 weeks.
I don't wish anyone to have to call all of their friends and family and have to relive that pain over and over. Just wait until 20 weeks.

it depends on the person. my sister in law told people when she was like 4 weeks along and then she had a miscarriage. i would wait till i was 4 or 5 months just because i couldn't handle a miscarriage and then have people ask me how my baby was.
