How does sleeping next to me make her feel safe?

Often a couple will sleep very close to each other early in a relationship as a way to assert their will to belong and express their desire for each other. Usually, as the relationship goes on, the partners will reassert their independence and have a tendency to sleep farther apart. The final change comes in a fully mature relationship, when insecurities and uncertanties fade and the couple will once again begin to sleep closer together.

My husband is an ex maine so sleeping next to him makes me feel real safe but I also like that he is always 5 degrees warmer than me and great to cuddle next to in the winter.

I would say that she wants to be near your warm body and she's hoping that you enjoy being skin close to her. She may just want to be that close to feel safe. As in feeling safe, I mean your body next to hers lets her know that your there. Some times women just like the fact that your there and it makes them feel safe.
That's how I feel about my boyfriend!

That is usually just a reason to get closer to someone but some do feel more safe.It is what u call cuddleing.Women love that.Make her happy and cuddle.

Cuddly gf.s are a blessing. Guys tend to like to have their own space, but passionate and loving females are wonderful. Get used to it. If you won't give her the closeness she craves, she will find somebody else who appreciates that in her.

I don't know about her specifically, but women in general probably just like to cuddle. My guess is she just likes being that close to you because it makes her feel happy and it's kinda like you're her teddy bear or something.

She is hoping you love her and want to be close to her. It is a good sign that she loves you deeply and wants it to be more than a romp in the hay. Sex is usually very emotional and meaningful for a woman, they want it to be about love in the end.
