There was a kid on my street when I was growing up in the 70s named Duane. I would think that's the spelling you'd want if you were going to name a white kid that. The Dwane thing looks kind-of ghetto.

I don't think it is bad at all! I have an uncle named Dwain as a matter of fact! It is just because it isn't used that often I think and some people are afraid of something out of the norm...... (my the way.... my uncle is white!!!!! and comments like that ARE just plain rude!

Nothing wrong with Dwayne. Most guys by that name I have know are white!!!
Besides Dwayne Wade is kinda hot!!! I'm sure lots of people named their kids after Micheal Jordan, and Brett Favre, and others. Big deal!!!!

it incredibly is incorrect to mock all people's call. people who do it are ignorant. There are names that derive from worldwide places in Africa such because of the fact the call Baruti, it quite is of South African commencing place, and skill "educator", yet i think the names that are well-known interior of u . s . a . of america including Tyrell are no longer African American by skill of commencing place. Tyrell is actual an old French call, which i does not reccomend all people be named because of the fact of what this call incredibly skill. i do no longer pay interest to the media, so i do no longer understand in the event that they have an inclination to mock them.

I had an uncle, a cousin, and a friend all named Duane. They were all white. It just doesn't hit you like some newer names do. It just sounds kinda plain to me. One of them ended up going by Duey. I always thought of Huey Duey and Louey.
