Need to speak with an investigator for school project?

For my class assignament i need to interview an investigator. I dont know any personally can anyone help?

An investigator gathers all the evidence to support a case.
One must have have studied law, police work, intelligence and practically anything under the sun in order to come up with a good recommendation. There are many methods to gather evidence and any procedure must be timely and practical depending upon the situation.

If you mean a police investigator just call your local police station and let them know what your working on, they should be able to hook you up with a detective.
