There is no place called palestine never has been so how could there ever be a palestinian people. when the country that currently occupies israel did so the territory was in the possesion of egypt syria and jordan. Israel has made peace with two of the aforementioned people and palestine is a useful method of supplying money to evil terrorists. By the way if israel was as evil as the arabs they would destroy the al asqua mosque which sits atop the well of souls or the very ground of the jews most holy relic the temple where the ark rested. This is a bit like destroying mecca and building synagouge then expecting the muslims who reconqured the holy site to respect the synagouge. Any fudamentalist muslim would be deeply offended by and willing to go to holy war for that shouldnt the jew. They dont because they are more civilised than the arabs. I think you're talking about Jerusalem. After the Israeli invasion of Palestine, Israel declared Jerusalem their capital, even though Jerusalem is not in Israeli territory.

BTW, the entire internation community recognizes the capital of Israel as Tel-Aviv, and do not recognize there claim on Jerusalem.
