We were thinking about reporting the crime but we think we might be considered racist if we report it since the perpetrator was a black person. The last thing we ever want is to be called a racist so I think we will not report it and just accept the loss. I'm not a racist right? Please tell me I'm not

Why are you being so mean to me? I love black people, I promise. I donated a lot of money to inner city schools. Please just tell me I'm doing the right thing

I'm sorry by the inner city schools comment. I didn't mean only blacks go to inner city schools I just mean I want blacks to have the same opportunities as those rich white kids. That's all. Please don't kill me.

First of all, I am sorry that your girlfriend had to go through such a traumatic experience. I'm sure that it was a very frightening ordeal for her and I hope that she will one day be able to go on with her life feeling safe and at peace with herself as well as her surroundings.
Secondly, and I really want you to read this carefully, I think that you should definitely report every single detail of the crime to the authorities. Contrary to what you and/or your spouse have been lead to believe, doing so will not make you a bad person or as you have suggested, a racist. Truth be told, you are not a racist and neither is your girlfriend. What the two of you are, however, are victims of a very senseless crime that was committed by a very selfish, thoughtless person (who, by the way, just happens to be black).
EDIT: You know, after reading some of the other responses as well as one of your previous questions, I have realized that (1) this is a really stupid story that your overly stupid mind has conjured up, (2) you are obviously an idiot trying to get some attention, (3) you should not breed...ever and (4) I fell for it (your shenanigans, that is). All I can say, idiot, is GROW UP!

How would reporting a robbery make you a racist? If your story is true, you would rather let a robber go free than report a crime because the guy was not the same race as you? Would you report the crime if it were an Asian, Indian or white guy? And why would you even consider not reporting it? Do you want criminals to roam the streets with no repercussions for their crimes? I think you made this up.

I don't know you, so I don't know if your a racist. Personaly I don't understand why color came into this. If your girlfriend got robbed, a crime was commited and should be delt with, why did you have to specify color at all. When you are describing him to the authorities that might be an issue, but to say it was a "black man" so should I report it doesn't even make sence, That is what makes this come across as racist, and silly, not reporting the crime because of color is just as racist as reporting it because of color, isnt it ?!!!

you're lying. If this is true, You are a racist. you're letting the perpetrator's skin color prohibit you from doing something you would otherwise do. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.
Your Followup.... You sound even more of a dumbass LMAO

Well, if your last name is Woo, which I'm guessing it is because you stated that in another question, then I'm guessing you're of Asian descent. No one is going to assume you're racist if you're a person of color reporting another person of color. It doesn't matter either way really. We'll all be gone in a minute.

It is illegal to rob and the perpetrator should have been reported no matter what his race. I have a problem with your feeling that you need to be so politically correct. If you have to ask, you are.

Crime is crime! It doesn't matter what race commits it, it should be reported. Stop worrying what people think of you and stand for what's right.

I think the fact that you think that way makes you a racist. If a black person robbed you, then say that, you're just stating the facts... what's wrong with that?
