Most Australian do like foreigners. But I think this is changing as different values and influences are changing what we perceive. When I was growing up I was taught to give “Any mug or bastard a go” meaning it doesn't matter what you think of the person you give him a go or opportunity. This was most likely because my parents were from the country. But with the increasing influences especially from American, most people are now only looking after number 1; themselves, no-matter how many people they walk over, and it is easier to do this to individuals who are different. Like foreigners.

us australians do like foreigners.... we dont like the ones who manipulate our system to live in our country or creep in from the oceans on shanty boats from places such as indonesia. Every one is welcome as long as they come legally. and to say that we dont like foreigners is contradictory as Australia is made up essentially of foreigners of different races and ethnicities. That is what makes australia so warming and diverse. Maybe you have certain personal issues with australia but i can assure you we do enjoy foreigners..

They don't...unless the foreigner doesn't know how to properly form a question.
