For my experiece, don't use any of them, usually I disable those option from the SceenSaver; sometimes windows crash when it starts again from hibernate.

doesn't matter.. Use Hibernate when u have a laptop that is unplug. Use stand by when a pc is connected to a outlet.

Stanby. It doesn't use the hard drive and your drive MAY be sensitive to wear and tear using standby instead of the hard drive puts less wear on the drive.
