Anything over 102 is technically emergency room time but as a mother of teens I have been there and know that all they will do is give a super dose of tylenol and make you sit there forever while they retake her temp. I would try children's liquid tylenol as directed on the bottle every 4 hours through the night, also bathe her in barely warm water (not too cool but not hot). If it doesn't go down overnight then I would take her in to the Dr. in the morning. If she appears to have anything resembling a seizure (these can be brought on by high temps even if she has never had anything like it) then take her in or call 911 immediately.

The fever is still awfully high. I would take her on in to the emergency room. Its hard for a doctor to dignose on the phone. Its all in your instinct. Regardless of what the doctor says, if you still feel concerned, follow your gut. You know more about your own child than anyone, including your doctor. Good luck and i hope she feels better soon.

Oh my gosh, yes. Any baby of that age with a fever should be checked out by medical professionals. 103 for an infant is rather high.

103.5 is high. I would seek medical attention, at least advice from a nurse. When the temp gets up in that range, the baby can have a febrile seizure, if they are prone to it.

anything over 101 go right to the doctor. If the doctors office is closed, head to the emergency room!! that high of a temp can be fatal!

Go to the ER...you don't want to risk it. Also call your pediatrician if there is an emergency service and let them know you are on your way to the hospital.
