protein enzymes for one thing make them differ. Also the fat content. One should never choose cows milk over human milk or formula for an infant.

We lack certain enzymes that help break down proteins in cow's milk. We have all the natural enzymes to break down the proteins in Mommy's milk.
I also agree - better containers!

if people drank human milk instead of cows milk there would be no such thing as cancers of the digestive system since human milk contains antibotics that kill foreign cells.

the enzymes, proteins, fats and sugars etc. present in each are different.
Cow's milk is produced for baby cows.
Breast milk is produced for human babies.
Upon saying that, it is usually safe (apart from allergic reactions etc.) for anyone to drink either.
My father in law used to joke that breast milk was best in your coffee because you didn't have to add sugar (it is so naturally sweet). I am just really REALLY glad he is only my father-IN-LAW.
And god I hope he was joking, even if only for my poor mother-in-law's sake. Imaging expressing enough for your babies AND your husband!!

Human women milk is adapted to feed human babies.
Cows milk is for calves.

Its more healthy, I wouldn't suggest drinking it yourself. But for a baby it is 100% more healthy for them than cow milk. In my opinion and I dring soy milk . Cow milk is only good if your a baby calf, its advertised as if its good for you, but really it is not.

aahh..well on a serious note...
basically Breast milk's got antibodies...one of the main reasons why mothers are encouraged to breast feed their babies and not wean them too early...
