Abhi and Amitabhs Films Tax Free in UP??? Why?

I read an interisting little article on www.chennaionline.com that stated that films staring Amitabh and Abhi were exempt of tax. (Quote below)

Any one have any suggestions as to why?

This doesnt seem fair ....as big stars they already have so many privelleges only an elite few can enjoy..why are they depriving local citizens of income that could be spent on health, roads and other essential service for the local citizens?

"Ever since the Samajwadi Party took over the reins of the state in August 2003, all films starring Amitabh and son Abhishek Bachchan have been made tax-free by the Mulayam Singh Yadav government. (Agencies) "

Because they belong to UP & Big B had been supporting current Govt i.e. politics as u can see in documentary shown on different TV channnels

This is coz Bacchan family and Samta Party, which is ruling in UL are very close. You can see amitabh in many functions organised by Mulayam and Amar singh. Amar sing is like family person of bachans. Amitabh is brand ambassader of UP as well. Due to this relation and power of Samta party they always do a favour to Amitabh in any means,so this is just another means. Even abhi. was awarded wid a prestigious award of UP due to power of Samta party.

Kuch to keemat ada karne padti hain bhai rishtey bana kar .. Rishta Amar Singh ka hain .. nuksan UP ke aam Aadmi ka hain ... waise bhi AB ne SP ke liye campaign film mein free dates de kar aapna karz utar diya .... Now people can see Amitabh promoting the SP in the campaigns and if they believe him the state can lose some more revenues to the altar of the Amar Singh AB family friendship.
