Dont you think that a tragedy requires two goods to conflict. Hamlet fights against evil. He doesnt strive for a value. Vendetta isnt something good. His uncle is not good, too

Hamlet is a tragedy. By definition a tragedy is :A drama or literary work in which the main character is brought to ruin or suffers extreme sorrow, especially as a consequence of a tragic flaw, moral weakness, or inability to cope with unfavorable circumstances.
Hamlet fits nearly all of the specifics of the definition. Also, in one way, you could say that Laertes is good...he was only acting upon the information that Claudius fed him. Hamlet tried to get Claudius to admit the murder...he tried to get his mother to leave Claudius, which would have removed him from being the King..the throne came through Gertrude..he tried everything he could, and in the end, it destroyed him. It wasn't exactly vendetta, but revenge. Two different things. And while revenge is not a good thing, it was all Hamlet had, the only way to avenge the murder of his father.

Hamlet is a tragedy.

His plans are good but his execution of them is wrong and that leads to his downfall. Read the play ,not the cliff notes, and then look up the definition in the dictionary for the word Tragedy and Melodrama. You will find that Hamlet is a classic tragedy.
