Well the doctor had me on my regular pain meds while i was pregnant due to my severe back pains and disabling migraine headaches. I was on lorcet but i would only take one when it was needed. My son was born healthy. I might would take one every few days or none at all. The doctor had them wrote out to take 3 a day as needed but i didn't take that many.

Hi, don't listen to the other person who said to stop taking the tylenol 3s when pregnant. It is completely normal for OBs to prescribe t-3 to patients when they begin having migraines during pregnancy. I know because I am 19 weeks pregnant and am on them. The effects on the unborn child are unknown, but from what I've read online any defects are very rare and have never been proven to be caused by usage of t-3, especially codeine. What I've read is that you should be careful taking them during the 3rd trimester to avoid your fetus becoming addicted to the drug. Otherwise, use them only when needed and in the dosage prescribed by your doctors.

That i don't know. I would depend on the pregnancy catagory the drug is listed by. This can be found out by looking at the leaflet that comes with the prescription, or by asking a pharmacist. Best of luck to you.

Tylenol 3 has codine in it. You CAN"T take this while you are pregnate or breastfeeding. Get to a doctor really soon. Stop taking them because they affect your liver, which while your pregnate, really puts a strain on it. Plus, it affects how your baby's brain will develop.
