I want to upload a video to YouTube, but I have to sign up and become a member first. They ask for my email address, and I am not sure whether to give it or not. I don't want others emailing me with comments. I want it to be safe and unreachable. Is it? Or can the public easily access it?

No, others can't email you. Youtube just sends you an email if anyone responds to your comments. Don't worry about it.

Im not really sure if the public can c ur address.... I doubt it tho! And if u reallly want 2 become a mem then just use an email addresss that u dont use go 2 some random site and get an email address! BUT WATEVER U DO DONT MAKE UP ONE!! cus more than likely sokmeone has that address

Just create an address on Yahoo, Hotmail, or GMAIL strickly for YouTube. I think you can also adjust the privacy settings on your YouTube account as well.

if you want an aliase, which is totally safe, go to mailexpire.com and use the address they supply you with. it will expire after a given period of time so no worries!

No, the Public cannot access your E-mail unless you give it out in your profile or mailbox.. Or something.

ok if your afraid to give your e-mail address that`s good but if your talking about youTube it`s usefull for uplaoding movies and trailers and you must give your e-mail address to become a member ship but the public can access it easly so open a new account and use for this stuff and then you won`t be aFRAID FROM THE OTHER .........................................................BYE LOL
