I'm going to start recording and coming up w/ beats but what equipment do you all recommend. I get suggestions; some agree some don't lemme know what y'all think. What kinda mic, software, hardware etc. I have mac btw

ok here are some pointers

hardware: SoundBlaster

sortware: Cooledit Pro 2.1

mic: get a good mic at radioshack (the source)

start for hardware: buy a SoundBlaster sound card. then you won't have problems with the mic because this card has most of the standard plugs for any sound equipment.
For a software: "cool edit pro" is nice and not so hard to use it...

well,about software "jet audio 6" is the best,it has many options it is a pretty good.
about mic,i think a good brand one will be do the job fine.
hardware???
