I'm not going to give you all the answers but I will explain how to do them.
13.4(x+19)=212
4x+76=212 (multiply everything in parenthesis but what's outside of them)
4x=136 (subtract both sides by 76)
x=34(divide both sides by 4)
For the rest of them do basically the same things just with the different numbers. Do the same thing to both sides to leave you with x alone on one side and a number alone on the other. If you need more help ask your teacher, don't just get all your answers off of other people because math does get harder and you will definitely need these basic algebra skills to do the harder stuff.

I e-mailed 13 and 14 to you b4,
5. 212-3x=53
subtract the 212
-3x=-159
divide by -3
x=53

8. 1506-2x=3x+646-x
get all x's on one side so add the 2x
1506=5x+646-x
combine all like factors(the x's)
1506=4x+646
subtract the 646
860=4x
divide by 4
215=x

11. 8x-153-3x=237+3x
combine like terms (the x's)
5x-153=237+3x
get all x's to one side by subtracting 3x
2x-153=237
add 153
2x=390
divide by 2
x=195

12. x/7+13=62
subtract the 13
x/7=49
multiply by 7
x=343

13. 4 (x + 19) = 212
Distribute the 4:
4x + (4)(19) = 212
4x + 76 = 212
Subtract 76 from both sides:
4x = 136
Divide both sides by 4:
x = 34

14. 2x - 8 = 3x - 467
Put x's on one side and numbers on the other by subtracting 2x and adding 467 to both sides:
-8 = x - 467
459 = x

5. 212 - 3x = 53
Subtract 212 from both sides:
-3x = -159
Divide both sides by -3:
x = 53

8. 1506 - 2x = 3x + 646 - x
Combine like terms (the x's) on the right side:
1506 - 2x = 2x + 646
Put x's on one side and numbers on the other by subtracting 646 and adding 2x to both sides:
860 - 2x = 2x
860 = 4x
Divide by 4 on both sides:
215 = x

11. 8x - 153 - 3x = 237 + 3x
Combine like terms on left side:
5x - 153 = 237 + 3x
Put x's on one side and numbers on the other by subtracting 3x and adding 153 to both sides:
2x - 153 = 237
2x = 390
Divide both sides by 2:
x = 195

12. x/7 + 13 = 62
Subtract 13 from both sides:
x/7 = 49
Multiply both sides by 7:
x = 343

Hope this helped!

I'll help with one . . . you try the rest:

the first thing you have to do for all of these problems is combine like terms (ie: all regular numbers on one side of the equal sign, all "x's" on the other

13. 4 (x+19) = 212

step 1: multiply 4 through the parenthesis
(4 x X) + (4 x 19) = 212
4x + 76 = 212

step 2: subtract 76 from both sides
4x + 76 = 212
-76 -76
4x = 136

step 3: isolate the x by dividing both sides by 4
x= 34

do you understand how this works now? Sometimes it takes more steps to combine like terms, but you HAVE to do that first.

P.S. when combining, it is easier in the end to make sure that the x-term is positive

ie: #14 subract 2x from both sides so that your x-term is positive (if you subract 3x instead, your x-term will be negative)

STUDY!!! and ask your teacher for extra help!

13. 4(x+19)=212
divide 4 into 212. the answer is 53. subtract 19 from 53 and you get 34. there for, x=34.

i am sorry but i could not do all of them because 13 is the only one i knew how to do.

I don't think I will do all of them, because it is really your homework, not mine. However, I will help with one of them.

in order to determine the value of x, you should start by isolating x
212 - 3x = 53
this is done by moving the 53 and the -3x to the other side of the = sign. When they are moved, they change their sign, so
212 - 53 = 3x
159 = 3x
now it is a simple matter of dividing 159 by 3
53 = x

1) distribute and multiply 4 to each term within the parentheses to get 4x+76=212. subtract 76 on both sides to get 4x=136. divide 4 on both sides to get x = 34

2) subtract 2x on both sides and add 467 on both sides to get x=459

3) switch the -3x and 53 to get 212-53=3x. then 3x=159 and x=53

for the remaining three questions, to find the answers, follow similar methods. remember to put all the x terms on one side and the numericals on the other side. it is better to do these problem yourself and not rely on other people's help. you can do it!

9x= -63 Need to isolate 'x' so we know what it is. 9x/9= -63/9 Division undoes multiplication and you have to do whatever you do on one side to the other, so divide both sides by '9' 1x= -7 Simplify. For any equation, 'x' is equal to 1 multiplied by itself, so we can take out the '1'. x= -7 Answer To check, "plug-in" our answer to the original equation wherever 'x' is and solve. If both sides are equal, than our answer is correct. 9(-7)= -63 CORRECT CORRECT ANSWER x= -7
