first get rid of anything that you dont need, next defrag it, after that go ahead and run some anitvirus. there are some good free ones out there. try panda security

Wireless connection can be low(slow) if you are using your computer far from your LAN router. Another possible thing is that there are some disturbance between your router and your computer.

If you mean the wireless connection between you and your ISP, try contacting your ISP for the connection check, error rate check.

If you mean "so slow" and if you are located in South-East or East Asia or even Australia, it could be because communication cables were damaged by the undersea earthquake near Taiwan recently, causing computers to run slowly.

You could have weak signal strength. If it is a laptop, try putting it closer to the wireless router to see if it improve the speed

if deleting your old stuff off your computer does not work and you don't have a virus call your ISP and as them to check your connection for you, you may just have a bad connection, mine had to be checked last week and now it works perfectly. hope all works out

Also you may want to run a separate line just for your modem if your on Dsl. and also use NEW wire make sure it has no breaks or cracks to eliminate line noise.

Try deleting stuff on your computer that you dont use. It might be because there is too much stuff in your computer.

Then try to get an anti-virus at http://www.download.com in case you have a virus.
