We all know a child should not have sex and at that age should be home playing with barbies and toys.
But if a child is going to do it then lets teach them about how to be safe.

SEXUALLY ACTIVE FEMALES

Should get a yearly pap smear
Birth control
Blood test
and educated more on safe sex

I dont think a child shold have sex. Wait till you get out of high school and on your own.

With sex you wont find love, it wont make you popular, people will loose respect for you, its not love at that age, it may feel good but not worth it at such as young age,!

Absolutely not. Neither an 11 year old's body nor mind is ready for sexual activity. And please if this 11 year old is being approached by an older man, she should realize that sexual activity at such an early age may not only be ILLEGAL but also perverted. In volunteering in homeless shelters, it's been my experience that 90% of homeless teens (let alone 11 year olds) have become sexually active at a young age, and 99% of those regret it and say that the circumstances around such early activity has led them to where they are.

Please talk to an older person about this and if you're still considering it, post on here again and let's discuss this before you do anything you might regret later.

No it's not okay. 11 years old is FAR too young and immature to understand let alone take responsibility for ALL of the consequences of having sex. Condoms have been known to break and a pregnant 11 year old is putting not only her unborn child at risk but her ownself at risk because her body is not READY to carry a fullterm pregnancy. There is a greater risk of spontaneous abortion (commonly referred to as a miscarriage), of high risk pregnancy, of complications, of low birth weight, of premature as well as stillborn.
Then of course there are the STDS, Clyamidia, can cause sterilization in women. HIV for which there is NO cure for and it is a long slow death and while it might not bother you if you have it your friends and family will be heartbroken because they KNOW you will be dying soon. There is also HPV which causes cervical cancer and once you've lost your cervix you can kiss having any kids later on good by as well. HPV can be spread even if you use a condom because it is spread by skin to skin contact and the disease may not manifest itself physically for 10 -15 years but that doesn't mean the person with the disease isn't contagious, because they are and once the skin of their upper genitalia touches your's...you've got it.
So you tell me IS it okay for an 11 year old to be sexually active as long as she uses condoms properly...Hell all you'll get is HPV right?

HECK NO!!! When I was 11 years old I didn't even know what sex was. Condoms don't justify her actions.

First off, she probably doesn't even have boobs. Second, only a really sick pervert would have sex with an 11-year-old. She is obviously way too immature for sex when most girls her age are scared to even kiss another boy.
She needs to wait at least 11 more years, find a husband, and then it's OK to be sexually active.

Take it from someone that knows first hand. I was 11 years old and rebelling against my parents when I had sex the first time. It was the most horrible thing I have ever done in my life. The guy was 15 and kept pressuring me, one day one thing led to another and it happened. I was scared to death that I would end up pregnant or get an STD, something I didn't think about until after the fact. Thank goodness I didn't get either. I decided at that moment that I wouldn't be with another guy until I was older and wiser. I am 28 now happily married with a 6 year old daughter, a 17 months old daughter, and currently expecting my 3rd child. My parents never talked to me about sex, so I learned the hard way. Now I know how to deal with my daughters when the time comes for sex issues and I will be able to deal with them, before they make the same mistakes I did.

**A friend of mine from childhood, who got her period when she was 8, had sex when she was 9 with a 10 year old boy and got pregnant with twins, her life was ruined because she didn't wait until she got older to be active.** Sex is not a game, and it can ruin your life.
I got pregnant with my first child at 21, I was on the pill and used a condom, really you are not safe even when you use protection.

I don't think so, because even if she uses condoms a lot of things could happen including:
1. Obviously she could get pregnant, at 11 when her body is just started to devlop and how is she suppose to carry and deliver a baby that young, even if she got an abortion (which is so wrong) imagine the gulit and the damage that would do to her.
2. She could get an STD (imagine before your even a teen)
3. She will get a horrible image and girls can be so cruel.

Background:
When I was 16 I went to the doctor, he asked me if I was sexually active and I looked at him kind of shocked and he said "well I have to ask because the youngest I've ever delivered was 12 and the youngest I ever (diagnosed) as being pregnant was 10!" I couldn't believe it.

To answer your question, no it is not okay. Think about the damage you are doing to your body. Im going to be reallllly graphic here. A guys penis is approzimatly one to one and a half inches in diameter. (That means all the way around) Your vagina is like 1 centimeter. Ouch, and that's if you're 17teen. Your not even close to that age so it is much more smaller

Ever think about STD's? You are a kid, it will be a shame to waste your life so early. Also condoms are NOT 100% accurate. How I know, my little sister was born.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! If she was my daughter, I'd swat her behind and only allow her to visit with her friends in my house where I could keep an eye on her, after I ground her til she was at least 16. And that's not including what my fiance' would do.

Condoms fail, honey. And physically you're not done growing, let alone mentally and emotionally. I'm not trying to insult you, it's simply fact. You'll regret it for the rest of your life.

Edit: Well, now that I've seen your other questions and answers, the only thing I can say is - you and your sister's parents/guardians should be slapped by social services! Explore sex with yourself before you risk ruining your life completely by getting pregnant, an STD, raped or even murdered.

No! Your body is not even developed! Your reproductive organs are still forming as well as your mind and at 11 I find it very hard to believe that you could fully enjoy and understand the concept of sex at this point in one's life.

This is not to demean you, but your body isn't even physically ready for sex right now - if you catch my drift.

An 11 year old who is considering sex needs to ask herself why she would make such a drastic decision so soon. Sex is incredibly emotional. It is the physical action of love between two people and someone who loves you wouldn't ask you to have sex at such a vulnerable, tender age.

Your body is your own and it's beautiful, don't disrespect it so young, please wait until you're at least an adult and can make rounded decisions about yourself and your values.

You need an adult to talk to about these sorts of things- prefferably your mother.

Meanwhile, explore your interests (reading, biking, acting, etc.) and remember that it is NEVER ok for an 11 year old to have sex. period. It's not even legal in some states as far as I know.


P.S. If someone is forcing you into this then it is sexual abuse- and it is illeagal.

Well everyone should always use a condom properly regardless of age but I would say that an 11 year old is not old enough at all & they will regret doing it at that age when they become older.
