say theres a man that was married for 7yrs with a child.he loves his child and wife very much and trys everything emotionally and financially to keep his wife happy.the more he gives/trys the meaner she gets.after 7yrs he gets a e-mail from a old gf.this gf gives him the attention and understanding his wife does not.he leaves his wife for the gf.he is overwhelmed with guilt and trys to comit suicide but at the last min. decides not to for his sons sake.this man then proceeds to give his wife everything house,cars,all the money he has in the bank and gets 2 jobs to make sure his son can keep his lifestyle.so here are my questions:is he a decent guy that tryed to make his marrage work but got temped by a hot sexy blond that was good at manipulation and gave him the love his marrage was missing.or is he just a snake that knew what he was doing and if he was that unhappy in his marrage he should have left before he cheated on his wife.

It sounds like you are trying to justify what this guy did. He sounds like quite the victim. I don't think that's how it played out. Regardless of how it played out, there is NO reason for cheating. If you are not happy in a marriage, get out of it before you have a fling or begin a new relationship. When you get married it is a legal and moral contract. While this person may feel good about it in the heat of the moment, it's a totally selfish act that destroys the lives of all family members involved.

Men cheat for any number of reasons,some for no reason at all,same with women.
If you cannot get what you want or need at home,go somewhere that you can get it or get a divorce and then find it elsewhere.
Giving your wife everything and then working yourself to death to try and make her happy is down right stupid,she isn't going to be happy no matter what you do.
To leave or stay is up to you or your friend.

I know of the same situation that was finally ended. He finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired. There is only so much a person can take.
Using the son is just an excuse. Just hope he isn't the kind of guy who may murder her to get his son and get rid of her ... no telling just how much he can take. Suiside is really a frightning thing and emotionally he sounds like he really has a problem.

Sounds like you are dealing with alot of guilt. Obviously, you were driven to this affair. While you knew it is wrong to cheat, your conscious has done everything to make it up to your wife & child. Had you thought about counseling to help this woman? She may never change, but it might help YOU to deal with her in the future, you still have a child to consider.

sometimes a person can love the person they are with but they forget the romance, the feelings that brought them together to begin with. and so when somebody comes along that brings all that out again then they might cheat. (I'm talking male or female)
i would say that is what happened here. i don't approve of cheating, I'm just saying that this is usually how it happens.

although the man was not in a good relationship to begin with she didnt force a gun to his head and say cheat on me - so no shes not at fault - he can control his own actions and by saying that his wife was controlling and mean he is just looking for an excuse for what he did to be right

Your wrong she can't make him cheat he cheated because he want to if she is so nasty then he need to work it out with her or either leave her. He is a snake he knew what he was doing. cheating is never the answer.
