Dont say inbetween because I just want to know what you consider to be a better quality of the two? Thats a tough one for me.

i would think overly emotional...because then ur human...you have to let ur feelings out sometime.
rock solid...is just cold and unforgiving. i dont know, id rather show emotion than just sit theere like a rock.

I think a healthy balance would be better. Overly emotional people tend to make irrational decisions at the height their drama. Rock solid people don't have healthy outlets for their emotions and tend to internalize. They also alienate people with their inability to be compassionate and empathetic towards others.We all know that internalizing eventually spills out in some screwed up manner (drugs, for example).

Overly emotional could be annoying, but overly rock solid can be stressful and frustrating because you can never tell what they want or need or anything like that. They're pretty much the same as dead.

I guess since you don't want a middle of the road answer I guess my answer would be overly emotional. But as I type I guess the answer is still middle of the road.
Think about it I can be overly sensitive or overly insensitive under overly emotional. Hmm gotcha thinking huh:|

I think, personally, I would prefer to be the "don't give a **** attitude". But, in others, I would prefer the overly emotional I think.
It's about getting hurt maybe? If you "don't give a ****" you may not get hurt. But if others "don't give a ****", then they may not care. So, even if they are overly emotional, it could mean they care.
LOL. It's all so convoluted! But obviously we all need to strike a balance.
