Yes a lot of your answers are right, H does stand for Hyperactive, a name he was given while he was a Red Coat at Butlins, for obvious reasons. His real name is Ian Watkins.

If it were me, I would show the boy's parent the email and express my concern regarding this being inappropriate behavior for a child to demonstrate to an adult. Otherwise, I would ignore him. You seem way too concerned over whether this child likes you or not. The fact of the matter is that you are married to your husband -- whether or not certain people accept it should be completely irrelevant to you. That's their problem -- stop making it your problem.

Hi hunni Sounds very much as if he's been brain washed by his mother. Your husband needs to sit his son's down & explain exactly why his marriage to their mother failed. You need to explain to they boys that you aren't there to take their mom's place, you are there to love them & help them in what ever way they need when they are over on visitation. Also point out to them that you are there to stay for the long haul & you have no intention of going anywhere & you'd love so much to be their friend. Start off with small steps to gain their trust, imagine what life is like for them, living with such a mother as they have. You will need to have patience with these boys, sooner or later they will draw their own conclusions towards you, the longer you are in their lives. Ignore their bad behaviour, let your husband deal with that, don't show the boys that they hurt you, they are probably testing you out, looking for your weak points. You & your husband need to unite, you back him up & he backs you up. Their mom is probably not a very stabbling influence in their lives anyway & perhaps she has put the boys up to actting in this way, by telling them things like they don't have to respect you & even blaming you for the marriage break up. It is his nickname - the H is short for hyperactive. This is because he is a rather active, bubbly, bouncy and jolly sort of chappy. (or so we are told!) It is supposed to describe his character. His real name is Ian Watkins and he literally was 'the only gay' in his Welsh home town of Llwynypia, Rhondda.

It's actually HT for Hyperactive ****, a name given to him by the band. H was less likely to offend the kiddywinks.
