I went to the emergency room on Nov. 24 and I didnt know that I had a bladder infection. The nurse told me that it can be harmful for the baby. Then they gave a paper full of information and it said that a bladder infection can cause a miscarriage during the first trimester, so go to a doctor and get medication if possible. They will tell you more ways to prevent bladder infections. Good luck

A bladder infection shouldn't hurt the baby, but nee to be-careful of what you are drinking that is causing you to have a bladder infection. Beverages that can cause bladder infections generally contain caffeine, which is not good for a growing fetus.

Bladder infections and UTI's can cause preterm labor! As long as you are being treated everything should be fine.
