Looking to buy a mac. any config suggestions? What is typical price range?

i think that macs are great. i guess you should try to get the imac because its not majorly expensive but its a very good system. I paid for my mac at best buy partially with this visa gift card that i got from http://www.doiop.com/amexvisa . it really helped pay for everything

If you will bring it everywhere may I suggest an Apple iBook. You have a range between an Apple Processor and an Intel on. But when you would just use it at home a Mac Mini PC is great. I have one and it's loads of fun. If you need more you can get a full blown configuration. Decide first if you need a desktop or a laptop. Good luck!

OK wat are you doing

graphics- Mac Pro (2000+)
commute presentations- Macbook (1000+)
music dude/ dj- Macbook pro (1999+)
simple boring work with lots of fun- mac mini (700?+)
and the iMac thats cool like a monitor with no tower or box!!!!!
