I would NOT suggest using eBay to sell a phone that's still under contract. Most of the bidders are accustomed to buying phones without strings attached on eBay, that's usually why people look for phones there.

You are going to have a hard time finding someone who will take over your contract since many can get free phones as it is and it sounds like you've only had your contract for a few months so that only shaves off that much time versus them getting a new phone themselves. That being said, there might be someone. Talk to people you know who might be getting rid of their phone or who is thinking of getting a phone for the first time. Otherwise, put an ad in the classified section of your local newspaper. As another answerer suggested, http://www.craigslist.org has a for sale section for people locally and you might get someone who's interested in taking over your plan, but don't count on it. You might even want to offer a bit of a cash incentive. Just think of the money you'll have to pay for a phone you don't want or to cancel the contract if you can't find someone to take it over.

Either CellTradeUSa, or resellular
They both cost around $15 or $20 to the person getting out of the contract. But if you go with resellular, this month is their 1st birthday and they are offering free service for the month of january.
