there were NO good matches and the one that was supposed to be good ended horribly...kevin thorn and balls mahoney's match ended with an unorthodox, unexciting cover, and Test is obviously on steroids but his match was the probably the most entertaining.

In all honesty, the "approach/activities entertainment" era is the only one that is extremely diverse than thee others in terms of captivating to a definite variety of audience. even with the certainty that the quicker a protracted time previous to 80 4 or so weren't attempting to convey interior the extra youthful audience, they easily weren't attempting to appeal completely to an older audience. In all honesty, if it wasn't for the previous ECW, the WWE, and to 3 quantity the consistently extra "mature" yet nevertheless all age suited NWA/WCW might have stayed the way they have been, attempting to be each thing to every person. ECW did push the restrictions of expert Wrestling thoughts and action to stages not before considered interior the U. S., and an excellent variety of of the extra youthful Hulk Hogan followers of the previous grew to grow to be ECW followers rather of Duke the Dumpster followers. If it were the 80's, this would not have been a huge deal. besides the undeniable fact that, the accessibility of ECW by using tape determining to purchase and advertising, internet, and cable forced WWE and WCW to alter with a view to purpose and win lower back the coveted youthful male marketplace. for that reason, the approach era became born. Now that there is not any actual opposition in North usa for WWE, they might go lower back to the extra PG rated fare and convey in youthful followers which will stay followers for existence. until there's a substantial upstart merchandising that would do what ECW did, this may not substitute. To be easy, i don't see it taking place. ROH on HDnet will appeal to numerous the purist, and TNA has a small yet dedicated following, yet WWE is a juggernaut that cannot be stopped at this factor. it is extremely actual because of the fact that they now have a valid progression programwhere they might hoard the form of up and coming skills that ECW used to have and WCW even used to their benefit for some years.

I don't think you can actually call it a wrestling show... it was an embarassment. If someone was watching it for the first time they would never watch wrestling again.

It was pretty bad. One thing i do like about ECW is that it is venturing into smaller venues for Live TV Events.

I don't think Test ever took steroids, but I can tell he took testosterone pills before since his rib cage is bigger than before.
