Me and my friend weigh the same, I'm 5'7 and she's 5'2, but she's a size 2 and I'm a 6. Are we basically the same? What makes our pants different?

Your height/length. Size 6 is longer then a size 2 course.

Since your tall that means you have longer legs. Maybe your hips are a bit wider too.

You two are not basically the same. Your 5 inches different.

What makes your pant size different is that you have a slightly bigger measurement around your waist/hips. For example, her measurements are 24-34 inches and yours are 26-36 inches around your waist and hips.

The reason you may be the same weight could be because she has a lot of muscle mass, you have different frame sizes (ie she has a heavy frame and you have a light frame) or she might have a bigger bust or upper body than you do?

Well it sounds to me that the only thing that is the same about you two is your weight... The reason why you two have different pant sizes, is because you two have different waist, and hip sizes... That is what determines pant size in women...

I think that pants size depends on hip/waist width and maybe the size of thighs and the but. you two can't be basically the same

i could say some length 8, or 10. this is why I continuously tell human beings to no longer bypass through top/ weight and BMI tables, with the aid of fact they do no longer artwork for each individual, you have got huge fat breast and a Small backside or vice-versa or you should be right now muscle.

it doesnt matter about your weight. it has to do with your measurements. but i dont understand how you can weigh the same as someone 5 inches shorter than you and her size is smaller..=/ ?

you always want to measure the widest part of you, but in your case your tall so you would want to look for pants that fit your length!
