normally ebay commission will be 5-10% of price offer in ebay auction.

-listing fees
-gallery fees
-picture fees
-final value fees (3-5% off total end of sell)
there is no fees for buying in ebay

eBay doesn't charge any fee or commission to the buyers if they purchase any item.
However, when you list an item on eBay, you are charged an Insertion Fee for listing the item. If the item sells, you are also charged a Final Value Fee. There are also fees for optional features that help to promote your item. The total cost of selling an item is the Listing Fee, plus the Final Value Fee, plus any optional features fees. Fees vary depending upon the site and category you are listing your item on.

you can sell at zero cost. i have auctions down there as well, but my yahoo sells faster. i think ebay earns thru when you do posting, they will ask if you need to put more pictures, or enhance the background or enhance your ads will a small charge. I post my for free cos i don't need fancy ads on them. simple is good enough. read the instructions, policy and guidelines properly. in case i've left out details. And Good luck in selling.
