If I send a package to a government PO BOX with delivery confirmation service would the package get delivered or sent back due to a lack of signature?

It will be delivered. A delivery confirmation notice will be placed in the PO Box instead of the package and the recipient will have to sign for it before he/she gets the package.

Delivery Confirmation is just the USPS way of saying online tracking. No signature is required. It would then be called Signature Confirmation

Delivery confirmation doesn't require a signature.

They will leave note telling the person to pick it up at the post office and after so long if its still there they will send it back to the sender

i would believe it'd get returned........they need an actual signature for delivery confirmation...this signature confirms it was delivered. hmmm but govt could be different.....................
