an orb is, in ancient mythology, a ball of mystical light that is the source of good but can be turned evil if a such spirit posesses it or the owner becomes evil. It protects it's master from harm and keeps a "light" in dark places.

Orbing is idea of a whitelighter/mystical Elder moving from one place to another by mind and they disappear in orbs plural. Such magical beings are considered the epitomy of all good magic as they guide the new and straying back to the light and they save those in dire need.

Hope this helped! 0:)

What most people photograph and call an "orb" is just a reflection of light - usually from a light bulb or other source of illumination within the area where the camera was being used. These are not angels or spirits they are usually just ruined photos caused by water droplets or reflective surfaces.

If you actually -see- something like a glowing ball of light that's a real orb - but if you take a picture and suddenly find there's an orb in the frame that you did not see when you took the shot, then it's just a reflection that was inline with the shutter and you didn't see it because the angle for the view finder is not exactly the same as the one for the shutter.

A real "orb" could be one of three things - ball-lightning (which has an obvious and noisy zzzzzzzzzzip sound... ), a will-o-wisp (which normally has a distinctive greenish-white glow) or maybe but very very rarely it is a supernatural life-form, or psychic phenomena.

In my experience I have not found these to be angels - that was just someone's interpretation - based I suspect, on the fact they are luminous and "pretty"... Consider: Jellyfish are pretty too - but some of them are deadly poisonous and can kill you very painfully.

I would say that if you or your friend encountered any of these things you would be wise to keep your distance because regardless of what anyone else says - you may be mistaken about what they are, and they could turn out to be quite hazardous.

Cosider for example that ball lightning can burn through most people's flesh and electrocute you simply if you are too close to them or between them and a good path to a ground wire. Will-o-wisp can be composed of toxic, flamable or explosive gases...

Unknown spiritual or psychic phenomena have just as much chance to be harmful as helpful so I would recommend that you try to be a bit cautious especially if you have not seen any of these phenomena before...

Orbs are considered by some people to be the simplest and most common form of a disembodied spirit. In photography and video, orbs appear to be balls of light with an apparent size ranging from a golfball to a basketball. Orbs sometimes appear to be in motion, leaving a trail behind them.

Well, answers may very well vary depending on one's spirituality and personal convictions, but in short, an orb is classified as either an illusory image produced by fog, gasses, etc. or as a visible manifestation of energy, whether physical or remaining in the form of energy.

"Orbs is the popular name given to typically circular anomalies appearing in photographs. In Spanish language they're commonly referred as canoplas. In photography and video, orbs appear to be balls, diamonds, or smears of light with an apparent size in the image ranging from a golfball to a basketball. Orbs sometimes appear to be in motion, leaving a trail behind them."

An orb can be the spirit of a dead person, or something symbalizing energy, but it can also be another name for a crystal ball, and/or any other type of sphere.

Orbs are always angels. I have a ton of photos taken of my daughter with orbs around her. Everyone has at least two guardian angels with them always.

If you have evr played GameCube, in Mario Party 7, they use Orbs, they are kind of like balls of things that make them do things against their enemy. Or to help themselves.

A sphere of astral energy, often in the form of corporeal state.

Orbs are simple balls of energy. They do not necessarily signify souls or angels....this is wishful thinking but not accurate.
