Hi
Intelligent question to test the others. :))
Although, normally and mostly females have a menstrual cycle of 25-28 days. This also include 2 or 3 days of plus/ minus.
But 5% to 7% of females have comparatively long cycle as you mentioned. Your normal cycle varies from 30-35 days and If you add 3 days, then it becomes 38 days.
So there is no need of Pregnancy test based on two factors:
1) This delay is apparently a normal physiological delay and insignificant provided all other body mechanisms are functioning correctly.
2) Pregnancy Test , usually takes 4-6 weeks before it becomes positive. As " hCG" secreted in urine will not be in sufficient amounts to react. So you will get negative result.
So at this stage, it will be wastage of money and time.
Wait and relax.

I have a 35 day cycle, and when I missed my period I took it the 3rd day or my missed period, and it came out with a pretty faint positive line. I retested again in 2 days to get a darker line so I could confirm the test and take a pic for the future baby book.
I would take a pregnancy test right now, and if it is negative than wait a couple more days. A lot of the time you can get 2 tests for the price of one, so price is no big deal.
Go for it! I hope you get the results that you want, and CONGRATS if you are pregnant!

My cycle is usually 32 days and I took a pregnancy test on cycle day 32 and got a positive. So, you can easily take the test now. I used the First Response test.

No I wouldnt take a test right now since it is only 3-4 days late. More than likely if you are pregnant you wint be able to really tell since you are so early in your months. Wait for mybe another week or so and see if your cycle will come. If it dont by then, I suggest taking a test to see or go to the doctor to see if you are pregnant or if you are just starting to have irregular cycles.
Good luck

Well they say that you can tell if your pregnant 2 weeks after conception so depending on when the last time you had sex was i would wait a little longer your not gonna get an accurate answere anyway. (even if the test says they can tell 2 days after a missed peird, it still takes 2 weeks)

I would take it; it's been a couple of days, so I would try one of those early response tests which are really sensitive to the hormone. You're officially at least three and a half days past your expected menstrual period, (according to the information you provided), and tests require you to miss one or two days. So if you're pregnant, it might show up by now. Good luck, and lots of baby dust!

I would. I wouldn't be able to wait. There are tests that you can use early, but are most accurate after you miss your period. If I was late like that, I would take the test. Good luck.

I would buy a two pack of tests and use one in the morning first thing with your first mornings urine. Save the other one to follow up in a couple days.
