Except for commercial enterprises, proper etiquette indicates that all Christmas decorations should be removed from display by (i.e.: before sunrise on) 1 January of the immediately-following year.
Additionally, Christmas decorations (including the Christmas tree) should never be displayed prior to the Friday following the fourth Thursday in November (i.e.: the day after "Thanksgiving").

The twelve days of Christmas begin on Christmas Day and end on January 6th - Three Kings Day.
I'm taking my lights and Christmas tree down on Sunday, January 7th.

if you're able to do it, beautify as a lot as achievable, human beings favor to bypass round and look on the Christmas decorations in step with annum, I really do colored decorations because white lighting fixtures are so time-honored and the majority have all of them year round now, so do shade if something in any respect.

You should keep your lights and decor up till national boxing day....thats when most people throw out their christmas trees. Or you could wait till the end of December because its never bd to show your winter spirit.

I agree, New Years Day is the day to take them down. But, there is a neighboor of mine that never takes them down because they are too lazy.
