it's not really the brand that matters...it's what smells best on you. no one's going to care if you smell hideous (not saying that you would :) and you're wearing 500 gucci perfume. also, no one's going to ask you what brand you're wearing. it all depends what smells good on you. also, no one can really give you advice on perfume b/c perfume smells different on every person. my advice is to go to the perfume counter at parisian or macy's and try on the perfumes to see what smells good. best of luck!

Vera Wang- the brand has many different perfumes, so anyone can find a perfume for them.

mid-range- curve
drugstore- Charlie
this is my opinion,
Perfume smells different form the bottle than on a person,
the best bet , head over to Macy's ask for samples. that is the only way to find a scent you like.
