Do men (and in some cases women) really fall for the ditzy-cute thing some women do to get attention? and why is it that some men usually go for whats easiest and not for what's concrete?? I really find that annoying!
It's really attractive to see men go for brains and not so much for looks. I mean its great to see a damsel in distress now and then.. but is the ditzy, distressed, airheaded thing really attractive?
your opinions please. :)

I think most men THINK they want the cute ditzy pretty girl with all flash but no substance....
Real men know what is really important in a woman.... humor, compassion, intelligence... at least in my book...
I think the majority of men are control freaks who get intimidated by a woman with brains & character...
May be a better question is: "Why do women always seem to choose self absorbed macho jerks as opposed to normal every day guys who will treat them as equals and love them with all their hearts"

I think some guys do find it cute at first, but once they start dating that little ditzy act can get real old real fast. Some guys might also see this as the girl being easy and go for it or they probably don't want anything serious so they just go for the ditzy ones. Not all guys are the same.

I think most guys like the ones who are outgoing and funny. Not sure about brains. It seems like the ditzy distressed airheaded girls are refered to as the blondes, and supposedly, they're the hottest kind. But don't worry, not all guys fall for the looks.

A couple of months ago I read a newspaper article about how important a sense of homour is in a relationship. Both men and women rated it as a high priority. Though the study should that men meant it differently than women. Men preferred women who laughed at their jokes while women liked men who made them laugh. Men can be drawn to the type of woman you are describing for this reason.

yes men do, but, they are not planning to marry these type of women. men who are willing to commit do not go for these " Big Ditzy Flirt" women.They use these women for fun. These women who throw themselves at a guy, and are annoyingly flirtatious, are only temporarily filling the void. so the real question is, why are most men not seeing the advantages of a commited relationship? because if they could than you would not have this question and I would, therefore have no answer.

Men like to be around fun people, if someones too serious then it isn't a great sign for a partner unless you are a serious type yourself, regardless of looks.
I agree that some women are pathetic with the way they act though x
I avoid these type, I like down to earth people who a smart and witty.

I can't stand women like that, they make me want to puke. I like guys that are smart and want smart girls. I can't have a relationship with a guy that has no brain. And I can't be friends with anyone who acts like a moron. It's not cute, it's pathetic. I think smart people are funnier than stupid people. You can't tell a joke to someone who is dumb, they don't get it!
I think that guys who are looking for a good relationship and not just sex want smart women. Men seem to be intrigued by smart women.

most men just want to get in a bed with a women...its the honest truth. so they go for whats easier that way t less work. granted that is not all men.

Dragon doesn't like it, but she can see how some men might like it if they feel like they need to be the knight-protector fer their woman.
