If Rep.-elect Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, will use a Quran once owned by Thomas Jefferson during his ceremonial swearing-in Thursday then he is definitely making a mockery of the Quran and exposing his own lack of understanding of the Quran and Islam and his rebellion to the commands of Allah.

Some critics have argued that only a Bible should be used for the swearing-in and they are perfectly right since the God of USA in whom "We trust" is a 3nitty and has absolutely nothing to do with Allah.

The Bible is not Revelation and the Quran should no be placed alongside Bible to give Bible equality with the Quran.

A Muslim swears by Allah with the index finger of the right hand upright to signify the Oneness of Allah and not with the Quran.

The Quran was not sent down as a book and has no right in the Court of Disbelievers.

The Musim is not allowed to legislate outside of Quran allows and doing so cannot be compared with eating pork to stay alive.

Th question is also directed at the Muslim and no Muslim can represent Muslims in a non-Muslim Government.

Islam is a form of Government authorised by Allah, The Only True God, and those who judge by other than what Allah has revealed are infidels, according to the Quran, so the Quran condemns those who collect taxes and make a living off alcohol and pork and all forms of anti-Islamic behaviour.

Some Muslims use Yusuf to justify entry into un-Islamic Goverment but Yusuf was a son of Yaqub and did not legislate but looked after the food.

Muslim clerics are frauds and opportunists and so are these politicians who deceive and make a mockery of Islam and the Quran.

Muslim God os Allah, One God.
Christian God is 3nitty, 3 gods in one or 13 gods when counted.

Christianity is not of Abraham nor of the Children of Israel.

Christianity is of Greek mythology, and thats the reason for the conflict, and thatdoes not give the half-Christian, half-Muslim Afro Americans the right to claim Islam and/or the Quran.

It is really foolish for politicians to mix Islam with Cristianity and claim the same God of 3nitty as the God Allah.

Im with ya!!! Ellison has NO buisness swearing in opn the koran...Basically, it means that he has no legal obligations to uphold his office. The koran is not a recognized "spiritual guide" in America from which to govern ourselves...Ellison to me..has nop ligitamacy and should be impeached from office....

You are not very smart are you? Muslims and Christians do claim the same God. They both belief in the God of Abraham or Ibrahim depending on your vernacular. Islam is passed down through Ishmael and the believe that God did give Jesus a virgin birth. So get over it. Christians also talk about the oneness of God, the Godhead. 3 persons, 1 God, not 3 gods. And why can't you type trinity????

I question your premise. Rep. Elect Ellison is not being FORCED to use the Quran; he CHOSE to do so. Therefore, it is not correct to say, "Why MUST a Muslim..." because it isn't that he MUST, it is only that he MAY.

Welcome to a free society. We needn't agree on everything.

Ironically the Muslim and Christian god are the same as they are both the god of Abraham . . .
So most violence on planet earth is committed by 2 groups who worship the same deity . . .
How much proof do you need that they are both retards ?

ps: you might wish to consider backing off the caffeine or whatever as you are borderline ranting . . . or do you want to come off as a hysterical & rabid ?

what? why are you mad about this, be happy a muslim is representing the muslim population. who cares about what book he swears in on, as long as the oath is meaningful to the person taking it.
