Sadly, i was cleaning my fish tank the fish swam down the sink. My parents blamed it on me and said that I was wasn't taking care of my fish good. What the hell!!???????

I had to flush my 4-year-old Beta named Norvin. I cried. But I was already familiar with death by that time having lost my best friend in a farming accident.

I had to flush it down, but by that time I already new what death was so they didn't explain anything to me.

I feel bad!! When my kids were really little we had goldfish, they all died. One day i threw them all out because they were dead. My daughter, who was 5 at the time asked me where they were. I told her i had to clean the tank so i wrapped them up and put them in the freezer until it was cleaned out and i had forgotten about them but that they would be alright.

Eventually the questions stopped but everytime that i went to the freezer and told them we were going to have fish my daughter always would ask were we going to unthaw her fish!! hahaha!

(we never replaced the fish)

I never had one either, but one of my roommates at the university did, and his fish died almost immediately after he got it. He actually didn't flush it; he stabbed it with a plastic fork and put it in the trash...
