If you're a woman, I can't think of a single reason why you'd want to gain weight for hockey.

If you want to build muscle, eat a balanced diet and do some lifting or resistance training. Hockey will also build muscle.

Women's hockey is physical, but unlike men's hockey doesn't rely on body mass and contact near as much. We play a faster, more technical game.

I'd work on my skating, speed, stickhandling and other skills. Your body and muscle will develop as it needs to.

Unless you're seriously, medically underweight, in which case, I'd talk to your doc for that information and weight until you get his or her say so before you start playing hockey anyway.
