No it's not illegal to marry a third cousin.
My half sister married her third cousin on her mothers side of the family. Personally I think it was disgusting and incestuous - but it's her life s-o-o-o.....
She had several miscarriages due to the blood relation causing problems with the pregnancies.

frist and second cousins are illegal but 3rd cousins are legal to marry but why would you want to marry your cousin?

No, most states have laws that prohibit marriages between first and in some cases second cousins marrying... that far down the family tree you are a-ok... so let your freak flag fly my brother!

There are some countries that still believe in marrying family members to keep the blood within the family per say. Only, this isn't one of them.

No, i think it is only your second and first cousins in my state; NC. It may differ in other states. I don't know if I would even if it were legal.

its not illegal in many places, but remeber the way of thinking of JFK , who married his cousin...;ets keep the "good stuff" in the family....i personally would not do it but there comes a point in life where one has to make their own decisions

i don't know but it sounds gross...and you probably shouldn't have kids. they will end up like the previous poster said, with three heads or even arms growing out of weird places.
