I prefer a kiss, however. . .hugs can be given and received more generously. A kiss. . .reserved for few.

A kiss because it's so special and intimate... I've always thought it was the dancing of the souls.
Hugs are spectacular though.
I know that if I will miss anything when my parents pass away :( it will be their hugs.
Something so simple but perfect.

It really depends on the situation, the moment, the place, and the person.
I mean serendipity and spontenaty are great, but having an ex-girl friend or boyfriend lay a big old wet one on you at the 10 year high school reunion in front of your new bride/ groom can make for a long night of the cold shoulder and hurt looks.
I like Hugs my self now that I'm "older and married", and I guess in today's PC society - maybe they are a little "safer" than smooches. Of course a Kiss and and Hug from a "Hottie" is really just the best - so long as both parties enjoy the exchange, and for me the suprise of it all is the best part!! Besides, I do not ever remember anyone getting slaped for hugging someone - do you?
Truth be told though, when you're young, and hot, a kiss is like lighting a fuse on a string of fire crackers, you never know how big the expolision might be or how long it might last, but it just might lead to one hell of an explosion.! So I leave it up to you, - to hold with arms or lips? Or Both? Good luck.

A real hug...From a guy, I mean, not just social, but alone...
It's an all over body thing, and I think it is much more genuine than a kiss.
It's the way I feel, anyway?
But why limit it to one or the other. Both of them are nicer yet. The kiss? Finit!

It depends on the person, but I usually like hugs because my kisses are reserved for a select few too.

I agree a kiss for or from a select few,but to get that close to hear a breath,feel the warmth,skin to skin when slowly approaching those full luscious lips,then to the softness of her lips,heart beats faster,eyes close,stomach sucks in,breathing gets faster,and that little bit of perspiration on our brows as we become entwined in our passion. I love to kiss a beautiful women.
Hugs are good too,but those kisses just do something for me,the slow ones.

An impossible question, depends on who with but....
With my girlfrined I love hugging her but thats a soothing relaxing sensation, when I kiss her it is passionate and exciting which nearly always ends up with us going at it like rabbits
