The football team is "Noder Dayme" But the true french pronunciation, of course, is Notra Dahm or correctly spelt, Notre Dame - which, as everybody knows (don't they?) means "Our Lady"

To me, no matter whether you're French or American, or whether you happen to be in France or the United States at the moment, it's Noter Dayme when you're talking about the Fighting Irish in South Bend, Indiana, and it's Notra Dahm when you're talking about the cathedral in Paris.
