Just can't seem to get it to work. HELP!?

Question

I've been trying long and hard to get my psp online and i thought i finally had it, but when i try to go onto my internet browser an error message pops up saying "Communication with the server failed. A DNS error has occurred." What does this mean and do you know how i can fix it and finally get my psp online? I will really appreciate your help!

all i think that may be wrong is that your not near a wireless internet connection. (i.e. a hotspot)
