According to the LMP (10/07/2006) she is 12 weeks along (I think that is right). When will she start showing? She is 5'9" tall and weighs 125lbs. We are not telling her parents until she starts showing, so I am attempting to create a time frame so we can prepare. Thanks for the help

You should wait until 20 weeks to tell anyone. I waited with my first two then blabbed about my third and m/c at 18 weeks.

She will show about 20 weeks maybe even later- you show earlier with each subsequent pregnancy

because she is thin, she will probably show a little pouch during the third month, but it will probably only be evident to her (and possibly you) because she knows her body very well. It is different for every woman but most show to the point that a sweatshirt will not hide it mid-way through the fourth month.

I was very young when I was pregnant and I told all my friends as soon as I found out. Word spred througout my highschool that I was pregnant but I did not show, except to me, until I was 6 months along. For most, they would consider this lucky, but students called me the "girl with the fake baby" because no one believed me. My daughter was normal size though, I just gained weight all at once in the last 3 months.

It is safe to say you are looking at another month and a half without having to tell her parents- however, the fact that her parents do not know may stress her out and it may not be good for the baby. I would consider relieving the stress from her mind by telling them as soon as you are prepared, not waiting until you can not hide it. Whatever you choose, good luck!

I'm 5'9" and I weighed about 140 when I became pregnant. So yeah not fat curvy and all that but not cubby or fat. I didn't even get to where I was showing until like 5 1/2 - 6 months. If shes in really good shape she won't show until later. Becuz it take longer for her body to stretch her ligaments and stuff. It will prbably hurt worse as well. So she'll be walking funny then.

I am 15 wks pregnant with twins and just started showing a few days ago. It's not that easy for anyone to tell, but clothes are a lot more snug. I am 125lbs and 5'4". Sounds like your girlfriends is slimmer since she is taller than I am, so she might start showing sooner.

She's pretty tall, so she might not show much for a month or so - but it's best to tell the parents now. Your girlfriend and your baby need GOOD pre-natal care, and it's awfully hard to get that if her parents don't know what's going on.

You couldn't tell I was pregnant until about 5 months along. Every woman is different though, it will probably be between 3 and 6 months. Good luck!

I'm a nurse. It's hard to detect every woman is different. I would guess like maybe by the six month. I hope this helps you. It really all depends on how much weight she gains and how fast.

some women make it to 20 weeks before its evident. but with reaching 12 weeks, you can expect it to begin to show any time now.. its common at this point for it to begin, as the uterus is reaching the top of the pubic bone at this point.

good luck
