I would say Pujols too, but just so I don't sound repetitive, I'll say MIGUEL CABRERA! Once he has a little better team around him, he is gonna be scary! To put up a .339 average last year at age 23 is pretty darn good.
PS- Could you imagine if a guy like Cabrara, Pujols, or Vladdy signed with Colorado? If I was a slugger I would take a smaller contract to go play there, and win triple crown after triple crown!

Albert Pujols...Keep in mind he missed a couple of weeks last year and still wound up third in homeruns and second in RBI's with 143 games....Ryan Howard (159 games) led the league in both of those categories, however he doesn't seem like a guy who could lead the league in batting average. Albert was also really close in 2005 in several categories. I think if anybody gets it in the next couple of years, it would be Albert. This is coming from a Cub fan so you know it ain't a biased idea.

To go off on a side look. I would go with A Rod.
Yes I know his last two years aren't what the Yankees are looking for but given the fact that he does have people around him that can help him get the rbi's and the average of his has been good. He has the power for the homers as well.
Then there is A P who is getting better each year.

Albert Pujols is the obvious answer. I don't have a doubt about him winning it eventually. The outsider would be Miguel Cabrera. He's only 23, and with a good protection his numbers will blow up. Look for him playing 3B or RF for the Yankees in the near future.

E. there is the story from the Nineteen Fifties while a reporter asked Ty Cobb how he could do interior the fashionable game. Cobb replied he could bat approximately .250. The reporter asked if that grew to become into with the aid of fact pitchers are so lots better than they have been in his day. Cobb replied, no it somewhat is with the aid of fact i'm seventy 5. yet i understand the real reason you're asking. If there have been a thank you to convey those adult adult males back to their top, the Yankees could sign them, distinctly Johnson and Koufax. Burnett and Vazquez could be on waivers so speedy their heads could spin.

Johan Santana, he won it last year. You are probably looking for a hitter though and i'd say the only person with a realistic shot is Albert Pujols. The guy barely ever strikes out so that means he's putting the ball in play, putting the ball in play is how you rack up hits and rbi.

Albert Pujols!!!!!!!!!! His avg, HR, and RBI's have been in the top five of those categories ever since he has entered the league. I expect him to win the Triple Crown in the next three years. Remember, He is about to enter his Prime!!
