Lots of things I'd consider. My thinking would be more in line with on who's on the mound and who I want hitting in that spot, than I am on the runner and I'll explain why...
With Hinske, odds are if he gets a hit, you're most likely either going to get a long ball (homer or a game winning "single" off the wall or up the right/center gap), in which case there's no point in running for Ortiz 'cause he scores on those anyway, or a sharp single, which b/c of the Monster there's a lot of singles that still won't bring in a guy from second, pretty much no matter who it is running- so again, no point in running for Ortiz in that spot. So, --- IF--- I realllly love Hinske in the matchup against what is most likely a #3 type starter in relief (by the 15th, both pens ares gone in a game 7), who's not going to be missing nearly as many bats I take the chance on Hinkse and I do not run for Ortiz.
Now, the next considertion is: Do I really want Hinske hitting? If I do- as I said- I do not run for Ortiz with two outs (one or no outs I do run Crisp for Ortiz). BUT... if I don't reallllly love the matchup with Hinkse and who's on the mound, I'd run the previous day's starter for Ortiz (It was probably Beckett or Dice-K in my game 6. Schilling started game 7 for me and Papelbon came on in the 13th after the pen was bled dry) and hit Crisp for Hinske. With two outs, the pitcher simply has to know to run on contact and would most likely score on a bleeder from Crisp. Most of the series winning hits are bloops or bleeders, and you'd get a good chance of just that with Crisp, even if he's fooled. I know full well that if it does not work out, I'd have Ortiz at first for the rest of the game and Papelbon would be hitting in the DH spot, should it come up again. I'm not worried about that, I'm taking my best shot of winning the game right here, right now.

Yah I would probably let Papi run...you have to have that big clutch bat in the lineup just incase Hinske or Coco can't get the job done. Worst case scenario, you go into the 16th still tied with Papi's bat in the lineup. It's hard to take one of the best clutch hitters in baseball out of the lineup for any reason.

I'd pinch-run Crisp. Hinske can hit. Ortiz would probably be thrown out at the plate on a single. I'd keep Hinske in the game.

Pinch run for Ortiz. Let Hinske bat. There is no other real choice.

What are the chances that the game will last another two or three innings??? That is when Ortiz will come up to the plate again. You only live once so I would most definitely pitch run for Ortiz with Crisp.

You bring Coco in to pinch hit, because remember then that game could be over with a single.

The call "international sequence" is deceptive. the international sequence is performed through important League Baseball communities, and all yet one team (the Toronto Blue Jays of Canada) are u . s . communities.
