Might sound stupid but im watching it now and its been on 30 minutes and there not in the movie yet. It also looks like a 70s movie not 1 made in 1995. Its on filmfour for any brits out there or any americans who may know the answers

its the wrong one. its absolute bollox. its advertised as Heat 1995 starring Robert Di Niro and Al Pacino and as a crime thriller. not happy with filmfour for lying

Maybe you are watching the wrong movie.
There are other movies called HEAT.
The one in '72 says AKA "Andy Warhol's Heat"
The one in '86 has Burt Reynolds in it.

You might be watching the wrong film. De Niro appears in the first scene of the film.
If you aren't watching the right version (the 1995 Michael Mann film), watch it right away!
If you mean when they appear together in the same screen, it isn't until around halfway through the movie, in the coffeehouse.

besides Pacino's silly over the top "HOOAH big style loud boom effect deliveries" overacting in parts
both these two giants show up big time - thier one scene together is tight, and worth the whole film!

if there is Joe Dallesandro in the movie, it is another movie made in 1972
