well in '64-'66 just pot and alcohol
in '67 in London = acid, more acid, alcohol, pot, and sometimes the less strong snortable heroin called Smack. And speed he kept in a baby bottle.
in '68 during the American tour he seemed fast talking and fast playing, I'd say alcohol and coke, pot, less acid.
in '69 more pot and alcohol than anything else bc he was drifting before and after Woodstock and probably needed to keep kinda straight in order to restart his recording career which was left in limbo when Noel quit in the summer of '69
In '70 it seems to me he was drunk a lot, stoned a lot and dabbling in coke.

he died of sleeping pills(Vesperex) that were 4 times as strong as American sleeping pills(i heard that somewhere)., in which case he may of thought he was taking just four pills, but that would be as strong as 16 doses of the American type

Jimi Hendrix Drugs

To call Jimi an addict is really not describing the man. An addict is compulsive drug intake and dependency of a substance. Jimi was a walking substance. He wasn't getting high, he was high 24/7, he never came down. He consumed drugs like you or I consume air. He ate in a week what we consume in a light breakfast. Was Jimi an addict? Was Bill Clinton an adulterer? Does Barbara Streisand have a huge jewish nose? Does the sun rise in the east every morning? The answer is yes to all buddy. Sorry he was the consummate druggie in his day. Rolling Stones, Beatles, Led Zep could only dream of Jimi's drug intake they could never match it. Ironic part of all that it was his own vomit that got him not an overdose, though rarely are 9 sleeping pills prescribed in one dose unless Nichopolous was Jimi's doctor too.

Hendrix was the Icon for freedom in the sixties. Hendrix was also a great guitar player. Drugs were also iconic for freedom in the sixties. Does this association mean Hendrix was a drug addict. I dont really know. I can however attest to the fact that he was one of the greatest, if not the greatest, rock blues guitar players of all time.
