My boyfriend and I had sex about a week ago. We used a Trojan condom with spermicide, he pulled out, and the condom didnt break. My period is 5 days late and I took a pregnancy test and it said I wasnt pregnant but I'm still worried. Am I overreacting??

you could be stressing out, or a lot of other things could make it late. try again in a week, and if your period does not come in 3 weeks, see the doctor. as long as you have no reason to think the condom broke, and it came out when he did, then don't freak out (just yet)

Could you be pregnant from another time you had sex? Did you fool around before he put the condom on? There are so many other factors that could increase the chance you are pregnant. But, if he put the condom on right away and you used it properly and it wasn't an expired condom, you may not be pregnant. The only way to know for sure is to wait and do a test in a few more days. Try to relax in the meantime, since your period could be late if you are all stressed out.

I dont think you're over reacting at all. Have you tried another pregnancy test? I personally would suggest doing that or if not going to your doctors or family planning clinic. I have a baby and know how scary it can be when your late for a period, my son wasnt planned! But I went to a clinic rather than my doctors, for the reasons, they do the test there and then, doctors normally take a week or so, and also your less likely to run into people unlike at your local doctors. Hope this helps, good luck! x

If the condom didn't break AND he pulled out, I don't see how you could be pregnant. Sometimes simply worrying about being pregnant can make your period late. If you are still concerned, go to see a doctor, who can give you a blood test.

Sometimes your menstrual cycle changes with the seasonal changes.. and stress won't help if you think you are pregnant. The best thing to do is relax and take another in a week.

Relax and try to be calm... take the second test in a week...

You can then sort out your options if you are. Worrying about it at this point won't do you any good.

Best of luck..

Although there is still the tiniest possibility you are pregnant the odds are probably over a million to 1 seeing as you used protection and the pregnancy test is negative.
I think you're overacting though, your period is probably just irregular.

I have been in your shoes and you are not overreacting at all! After I starting having sex My period became very irregular. My doctor said it was because i was sexually active. But I was very worried when it happened to me.

don t worry, like the nurse said you should be safe. But if you doubt it then go and get a blood test.

i have had the same problem. if you are athletic or very active, it could cause it to be late. also nerves can actually cause your period to be late. i wuldnt wory now. if the test was negative and u are still unsure, take another.

I'm a nurse. Have a blood pregnancy test, they tend to be more accurate.
